Dr. Rob Lund received his doctoral degree from Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia and completed his post-doctoral training in internal medicine in the Emory University Affiliated Hospital System. He is board certified in both internal medicine and insurance medicine. After 16 years of private practice in Atlanta, he became a full time insurance medical director in 1994. Rob joined Munich Re in 1999 and has been active in insurance medicine for over 24 years.
He has served on the executive councils of both the American Academy of Insurance Medicine (AAIM) and the Canadian Life Insurance Medical Officer’s Association (CLIMOA) and has been a speaker at various industry events. He is involved in research and underwriting manual development at Munich Re and is a published author in the Journal of Insurance Medicine.
